Presentation plates

Presentation plates (often called "chargers" or "covers") represent the crowning touch on a perfectly laid dinner table. They do not actually have a practical function – yet they are indispensable. They underline the festiveness of an occasion. What is more, presentation plates shine the limelight on the dinner service. They enhance every dinner plate on them, usually providing a frame thanks to their size. That makes it possible to give a new look to an existing dinner service.

That is why Wedgwood, Sieger by Fürstenberg and also Bernardaud have thought up original designs for presentation plates. They thrill with their baroque shapes, bright colours and patterns. Plain-coloured presentation plates, for example, provide an ideal stage for patterned plates or soup bowls.
