"Lily" trays by Michael Aram

Beauty at its loveliest was what Michael Aram discovered at Lake Dale in Kashmir. The object of his admiration: water-lily leaves, which fascinated the designer with their wide variety of shapes and provided him with the inspiration for his "Lily" trays. True to their model in nature, each tray has a different shape - one totally flat, another in the shape of a bowl. These exquisite pieces are made of stainless steel - a material that holds a special magic for Aram. In his adopted home of India, the American designer spent a long time learning about the country's age-old technique of metalworking, which now enables him to meet the high standards of originality and quality he has set himself.
