"Modern" ice tongs by Ercuis

The silverplated "Modern" ice tongs from Ercuis seem almost like a sculpture and not an everyday utensil. Their elongated body displays an elegant curve, which is softly rounded off at the edges. The head has a similarly soft shape and it is only the "teeth" that, in keeping with their role, taper to a point.
The excellent quality of the ice tongs is thanks to the work of the Parisian silversmith Ercuis, founded in 1867.
