Bernardaud's "Oscar" dinnerware is a modern work of art made from the finest Limoges porcelain. The young designer Joy de L'Hermite was inspired by a stay in Brazil and created the "Oscar" porcelain line for Bernardaud as a tribute to the famous architecture of Oscar Niemeyer and the blaze of colour in Brazil. The result is a modern service that inspires with graphic elements and striking colour harmonies.

Oscar Niemeyer (1907 - 2012) was a Brazilian architect who is regarded as a pioneer of modern Brazilian architecture. Niemeyer's key work is the planning of the government city of Brasilia, whose most important buildings and numerous residential buildings he also designed himself. Niemeyer's trademarks were buildings with sensual curves, which also make the "Oscar" dinnerware particularly appealing.
