The "High School" dinner service from the Fürstenberg porcelain manufactory brings together hospitality with aristocratic grandeur. The unusual pattern was conceived by the Berlin designer Clarissa Dreier, who was inspired by illustrations published in a historical textbook about horsemanship.
Clarissa Dreier has combined idealized riding scenes with hoof shapes in a whole range of different compositions on the china. On some pieces graphic elements, comprising circles and curves, dominate the design, on others, such as the gravy boat, a jumping horse decorates an entire surface. The host becomes a creative table designer.
