The "Azur" dinner service from Gien resembles a delicate watercolour drawing and whisks you off on a trip into the unspoilt countryside. The wonderful illustrations show blue wild flowers, whose fragrance attracts colourful butterflies. The wild flowers, such as cornflowers and forget-me-nots are presented true to life on the cream-coloured Gien faience.

Faience is a fine, porous earthenware which is tin-glazed and then fired repeatedly. The faience dinner services from Gien have been popular for their intensive colours and shapes for hundred of years.
