A walk in the woods provided designer Florence Soulès with the inspiration for the "Chanterelle" dinnerware for Gien. The result is an autumnal dinner service from the Fayencerie die Gien, which will be met with particular enthusiasm by mushroom and nature lovers. Waiting to be discovered is a whole range of different mushrooms, such as porcini, trumpet mushrooms and chanterelles. Keeping the mushrooms company are ferns, leaves and dried fruits. "Chanterelle" from Gien conjures up an autumnal atmosphere on your table in no time at all.

Faience is a fine, porous earthenware which is tin-glazed and then fired repeatedly. This technique dates back to the time of the Ancient Egyptians. It is a technique that has been used and perfected in a unique way by the Fayencerie de Gien (Gien Faience Factory) since 1821. Faience from Gien distinguishes itself from other porcelain manufacturers thanks to its finesse and the diversity of its shapes and motifs.
