Leonardo da Vinci by Gien

Since the foundation of Gien Faience manufactory in 1865, Gien's tableware collections were decorated with motifs celebrating the Renaissance.

In commemoration marking 500 years since Renaissance began the Faiencerie Gien launched the "Leonardo da Vinci" collection. On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Renaissance, Gien launches the gift collection "Leonardo da Vinci". The source of inspiration were the archive graphics from the "codex" by the great Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci. The depictions of drawings, crayon sketches, notes, texts and ink scribblings are true to the originals and were faithfully transferred to plates, cups, trays and mugs. The aspect of the old parchment paper has been kept deliberately.

Each piece of the "Leonardo" collection is delivered in a gift box with a matching motif.
