Filets Indigo by Gien

Unfortunately Gien is discontinuing the "Filets Indigo" table service. This line is only produced three times a year. For repeat orders, you have to expect longer delivery times.

The "Filets Indigo" dinner service is a new colour variation of the famous blue classic from Gien. The enchanting shell shape of the dinner service of ecru-coloured faience is adorned with dark blue, hand-painted lines. The plates from the "Filets Indigo" series are a perfect match for the "Indigo" dinnerware from Gien.

Faience – a fine, porous earthenware that is glazed – can be dated back to Ancient Egypt. It is a technique that has been used and perfected in a unique way by the Fayencerie de Gien (Gien Faience Factory) since 1821.
