"Tulipe" bowls by Daum

The "Tulipe" bowls by Daum open up like freshly flowering tulips towards the sunlight. Reminiscent of the so-called "parrot tulips" with their deeply cut, slightly curled blooms, they have a fascinating appeal. The individual petals of the "Tulipe" bowls from Daum drape pendulously making the bowl ideal for holding objects in the centre.

Measuring 30 cm across, the "Tulipe" bowls from Daum make a real statement on tables or side boards. Yet their design is so delicate and aesthetic that they never seem too much. Their petals with their velvety amber or ultraviolet colours seem to radiate from within. The light also highlights the varying shades of pigment used for the petals – a fascinating effect which is very attractive.

Each "Tulipe" bowl is made entirely by hand at the Daum manufactory in France using a single crystal glass paste and is thus totally unique.
