René Lalique became famous because, unlike any other glass designer, he was able to capture nature within his creations. The "Champs-Elysées" bowls are perfect examples of Lalique’s craftsmanship. They look as if they are chestnut leaves that have somehow turned into crystal glass, and yet nature merely supplied the pattern. The edges of the glass leaves curl gently upwards so that they can retain any little delicacies placed in the bowl. The bowls shown here are available in clear and gold.
