  • Plated with gold (24-carat), leather back
The design for the "Papiro" picture frames from L'Objet goes back to the Renaissance artist Mariano Fortuny who took the inspiration for his works from the city he adopted as his home: Venice. Among other things he produced hand-printed textiles reminiscent of Oriental ornaments and Venetian palaces. Indeed, these gold-covered "Papiro" picture frames from L'Objet could well have originated from such a Venetian palace.

Brown leather shimmers through in the background and also decorates the rear of the picture frame from L'Objet. Thanks to the facetted glass of the picture frame, rays of daylight or of artificial light that fall on the picture never obscure your view of the picture. These "Papiro" picture frames by L'Objet are shipped to you in a black and gold gift box and can be used for photos of either landscape or portrait format.
