"Leaf" footed platters by L'Objet

Design brand L’Objet and New York interior designer Kelly Behun teamed up for a collection of whimsical home objects. L'Objet regularly collaborates with leading figures in art, design and jewellery to create unique design objects. The joint collection comprises 14 individual pieces inspired by art deco and surrealism. Besides exceptional design, it is very important for L'Objet to focus on high-quality materials and handwork.

Part of this spectacular collection is the "Leaf" footed platter. Petits fours, cheese or fruit can be elegantly and extravagantly presented on the oak wood platter. The beautiful wood grain of the "Leaf" platters contrasts with the sleek design of the bowl. It is precisely this contrast that creates a special tension. The platters are handcrafted from European oak.

When needed, L’Objet wood pieces may be handwashed with cool water with a non-abrasive soap using a soft sponge. Always dry immediately with a soft cloth. To preserve the beauty and finish of the wood, periodically recondition with vegetable oil using a soft cloth. Remove oil from metal parts and remove any excess oil with a paper towel or soft cloth.
