In 1969, Rudi Rabitti founded one of the first workshops to work exclusively with vegetable-tanned saddle leather in Milan. Guided by his passion for leather and fine craftsmanship, he created distinctive objects for everyday use that quickly became, and remain, icons of Italian living culture. In 2015, Rudi Rabitti joined the style universe of Italian lifestyle expert GioBagnara under the new name Rabitti 1969.
