Informative, Entertaining, Sustainable – Puzzles full of Passion

For the love of wine. Water & Wines is a Swedish label founded by friends Yamit and Mathilde. Yamit, a sommelier, was looking for a way to create learning materials about wine that didn't feel like homework. Together with her friend Mathilde, master of maps and lover of puzzles, they designed a playful experience that captures the essence of the world of wines and spirits. Their idea grew into a series of lovingly crafted puzzles, each of which being a little adventure of discovery and joy.

To ensure that the Water & Wines puzzles are as informative as they are beautiful, an expert team of sommeliers works hand in hand with the illustrators. Together they design colourful map motifs that are packed with interesting and carefully researched information about the respective regions and their wines. The wealth of detail guarantees that not a single puzzle piece remains boring and grey. This means that beginners and puzzle sceptics can have just as much fun as wine-loving puzzle professionals.

Having fun and doing good. Water & Wines is part of 1% for the Planet. Founded by the owners of the renowned outdoor brand Patagonia, the non-profit organisation commits its members to donating one per cent of annual sales to environmental organisations. For every puzzle sold, Water & Wines plants a tree with the Eden Reforestation Projects and helps Charity Water to supply millions of people with clean drinking water.

The cycle of nature. Every Water & Wines puzzle is made locally in the EU from recyclable materials. From the box's shrink wrap to the paper bag containing the puzzle pieces, all the materials used are recyclable. We at Artedona also use as little plastic as possible for shipping and rely on recyclable paper packaging.

An educational journey from the comfort of your home. Water & Wine makes its premium puzzles from recycled paper with a velvety matt surface. With their non-slip texture, the puzzle pieces are easy to sort and handle. The matt surface helps to ensure that all the colours and details on the pieces are clearly visible, even in direct light. Each box also contains a paper stand to stand the box lid up as a reference, a poster of the finished image, and lots of interesting additional information on the inside and outside of the box.

Start your journey with the big three. France, Italy, and Spain are the world's leading wine-growing countries. With the wine puzzles from Water & Wine, you will learn where the wine-growing regions of the respective countries are located, which grape varieties are grown there, and which cultural symbols are associated with the regions.
