It is not known whether the French design studio Putman was inspired by astronomy when it developed the "Vertigo" bottle stand. However, the shape of the silverplated "Vertigo" bottle stand from Christofle is very reminiscent of the orbits of the planets in our solar system.
A large ring holds two smaller rings, which are in the familiar loop of the "Vertigo" range. The ensemble rests on a third ring, which forms the base of the bottle stand.
