The brand is led by artist Julie Leibovici, who works in her Paris atelier alongside a team of highly skilled porcelain painters. Together, they create both original collections and bespoke designs, developed in close collaboration with clients for individual interior projects. Porcelain as an Art de Vivre – The story of Julie Leibovici and Arcanie

To bring together her talent for the sciences and her passion for art and design, Julie Leibovici studied architecture at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Shortly after graduating in 2003, her path took an unexpected turn: following the sudden loss of her father in 2004, she took over the family’s metalworking business and led it successfully for more than 15 years.

With Arcanie, she returned to her original creative path. Inspired by leading interior designers such as Alberto Pinto, she began to see the laid table as a setting for atmosphere and expression. Her designs translate this vision into bespoke table settings, where carefully balanced compositions meet a sense of effortless elegance.

With Brush and Palette – Porcelain Designed to Your Vision

Arcanie combines the traditional savoir-faire of French porcelain painting with a contemporary approach to design and individuality, creating tableware with a strong personal character. The canvas is pure white porcelain from the historic porcelain city of Limoges. Shapes range from classic plates with flat rims to elegant coupe designs and pieces with floral relief.

Each piece is created through a precise and considered process:

• A hand-drawn sketch of the décor
• Careful transfer of the motif onto the porcelain
• Painting with fine brushes and pigments
• Firing in the kiln to set the colours and bring out their brilliance

Since every piece is made by hand, existing collections can be adapted with ease. Motifs can be applied to different items or services expanded with additional pieces, tailored to your needs.

Arcanie also offers the opportunity to design tableware and decorative objects in collaboration with its artists.
