The slender, round silhouette of the vase is covered in brilliant crystal pyramids, an impressive demonstration of Baccarat's renowned diamond and bevel cuts. A vertical fluting pattern on the inside lends even more complexity and depth to the reflections in the crystal glass. In 1933, during the heyday of Art Deco, designer Georges Chevalier created the "Louxor" jewellery collection for Baccarat, inspired by ancient Egypt. In 2023, the artist and designer Thomas Bastide reinterpreted the collection for modern sensibilities. The emblem of the collection is the pyramid-shaped bevel cut, which can be found on every piece.
