The Return of an Eagle – The History of Franz Barth
In 1893, Franz Barth founded his own textile company in Treuen, Vogtland. In 1904, he moved just a few kilometres west to the Bavarian town of Hof an der Saale in the traditional textile region of Franconia. His workshops at Orleansstraße 16 still exist today, carrying his traditional experience into the future.
Over the decades, Franz Barth's "Adler Fabrikate" brand developed into the contemporary feel-good manufacturer Eagle Products, led by his descendants. More than 100 years later, the inexhaustible expertise of their passionate employees inspired the family-run business to return to the artisanal roots of its founding father once again with a new collection. The Franz Barth brand was born – a legacy of quality and expertise of many generations.
