LAB by KPM

The minimalist, technical design language of the LAB series is inspired by 20th century KPM Berlin laboratory porcelain and has been consistently developed further by head designer Thomas Wenzel for the modern kitchen laboratory.

All members of the ever-growing LAB family can be recognised by the chrome-green stamp mark and the lettering "Berlin". The green colour was already used to identify the laboratory porcelain of KPM Berlin in the past and still stands for design, handmade in Berlin.

The "Lab" collection by KPM is characterised by the haptic-sensual interplay of glossy-smooth glazed porcelain and velvety-matt bisque porcelain surfaces for universal enjoyment at the breakfast, lunch and dinner table.

• The underside of the plates is made of bisque porcelain.
• On the outside surface of the tumblers, the mix of glossy-smooth glazed porcelain in the upper half and matt bisque porcelain in the lower half makes the cups a real delight to hold.
• The porcelain glaze is omitted from the lower part of the outside of the bowls, so that the matt bisque surface contrasts with the glossy glazed porcelain.
