The Fortuny brand is well known for its beautiful patterns and colours. The magnificent designs go right back to Renaissance artist Mariano Fortuny, who let himself and his art be inspired by his adopted home town of Venice. Among other things the company produces hand-printed fabrics which remind one of oriental ornaments and Venetian palaces.
