A design from another sphere. The "Sphere" bonbon dishes in the gold lustre colourway are a testament to the pure material poetry of the traditional Viennese glassmaker Lobmeyr. Designed by architect and designer Oswald Haerdtl, these spherical candy dishes debuted in 1925 at the historic Exposition des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. They have since become world-renowned works of the legendary collective of visual artists from the era of Viennese Modernism, the Wiener Werkstätte. Masterfully crafted from ultra-thin, mouth-blown muslin glass, the perfectly round dishes appear to float weightlessly above their slender stems. A teardrop-shaped handle lends the pure form the graceful sense of flow characteristic of Art Deco. A lead-free, fired layer of colour gives this version a magical, warm golden lustre. The dishes are available in three sizes, as well as a flat version.

Since 1823, Lobmeyr has been synonymous with glass of exceptional refinement and cultural significance. Still family-run in its sixth generation, the Viennese house has played a lasting role in shaping European design. Its ultra-thin, lead-free crystal combines remarkable lightness with impressive durability. Working in close collaboration with internationally renowned designers, Lobmeyr continues to create enduring pieces that unite heritage and contemporary design with effortless elegance.

Hand washing with a small amount of dishwashing detergent and warm water is recommended. Rinse thoroughly afterwards to ensure that no soap residue remains.

Care should be taken when drying due to the delicate material. Under no circumstances should the tea towel be stuffed into the chalice; despite its elasticity, this can cause breakage. Glasses decorated with enamel paint should not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

If using a dishwasher, select a special glass program and the recommended amount of detergent. Ensure that the items do not touch each other and that steam can escape after the program has finished.

Store containers uncovered (without lid or stopper).
