Weightless sterling silver. The "Séléné" bowls by Puiforcat translate the unique design language of ceramic artist Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye into the world of silversmithing. Inspired by the serene beauty of the moon, the convex silhouettes of the handmade bowls reflect their surroundings in the magical white lustre of pure 925 sterling silver.

The rounded base conceals the small foot of the bowls, giving them the appearance of floating. A pattern of two chased lines along the upper edge contrasts with the flawless silver surfaces. The small bowl is also available with a "pavé" pattern consisting of several horizontal lines.

Turkish-Danish ceramic artist Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye combines Scandinavian minimalism with antique forms and Mediterranean patterns. She became world famous for her seemingly weightless bowls that balance on barely visible feet.
