Drawn by Nature – The Minéral Collection in Detail
Floral elegance meets mineral grace. Like a sunflower’s head, the Minéral collection's design consists of seed-like impressions radiating across the delicate Limoges porcelain. On the minimalist, flat forms, the complex relief pattern captures the light, highlighting the natural texture of the porcelain with strong contrasts. The design achieves a fascinating balance between the abstract and the concrete, inspiring the imagination to endless associations with nature.
As diverse as the textures are the shapes within the Minéral collection. A harmonious combination of partial and full decorations gives each porcelain shape its own personality. Alongside an extended selection of dinnerware plates, the collection surprises with unusual pieces such as star-shaped bowls, conical pots and bowls, and long, spindle-shaped bowls in four sizes. Even the salt and pepper shakers captivate with a sculptural silhouette reminiscent of star anise pods – an imaginative ensemble for inspiring table settings.
In the Colours of the Earth – The Minéral Collection at a Glance
The Minéral tableware collection is available in two different finishes: the high-gloss “Minéral” and the satin “Minéral Irisé.”
The Minéral White dinnerware set features a glossy glaze that covers all surfaces, including the delicate décor. Like the surface of a calm lake, the glaze reflects light, creating shimmering waves that dance across the relief pattern. The reflections blur the pattern’s sharp contours and shadows, giving the porcelain a sense of flowing movement. The Minéral Platinum and Minéral Gold versions accentuate the brilliant white porcelain with precious metal rims on the plates and cups, and optionally fully gold- or platinum-plated interior surfaces in selected bowls and dishes.
For the Minéral Irisé dinner services, Raynaud leaves the textured surfaces unglazed and hand-paints them meticulously with earthy, metallic-shimmering colours. The result is a matt, contrasting sparkle that, depending on the colour and light, evokes windswept cliff faces or untouched traces in fine sand. Available in a harmonious range of earthy tones and metallic colours, Minéral Irisé dinner services can be mixed and matched to achieve versatile, nature-inspired table settings.
The Pépites Irisées rocks deepen the collection’s geological theme and transform the table into an alpine landscape of sublime beauty. These small porcelain rocks consist of a deep dish and a high cloche that together form the silhouette of boulders. From appetisers and soups to desserts, these elegant and functional porcelain sculptures stage all kinds of dishes with dramatic flair.
