"Abysses" is a design by French artist and fashion illustrator Aurore de la Morinerie. Inspired by Chinese calligraphy, she painted the original patterns in bold gestures with brushes on porcelain surfaces. The resulting wealth of textures and colour gradients merge into sweeping underwater worlds full of poetic mystery.

As changeable as the sea, the dinnerware collection combines four base shapes: "Uni", "Macao", "Menton orient" and "Lunes". The collection also offers two dinner plates, No. 1 in the round "Macao" shape and No. 2 in the flat "Uni" shape. Thanks to this variety, "Abysses" is ideal for Western, Asian and international tables alike.

Cleaning:
Clean your porcelain by hand using a soft sponge and mild dishwashing liquid. However, be careful not to use the abrasive side, as it may damage the surface of the decorations, especially gold or platinum.

Your porcelain is also perfectly safe for the dishwasher. Choose a low-temperature cycle and do not exceed the recommended amount of detergent. If you do not wash the porcelain immediately (by hand or in the dishwasher), we recommend rinsing it with warm water. Make sure that the pieces do not touch each other in the dishwasher and allow the steam to escape after the program has finished.

Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).

Microwave:
Pieces without gold or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
