French Limoges porcelain with Japanese flair. The "Imari" dinner service by Raynaud is a love letter to Imari porcelain from the Japanese island of Kyushu, the southernmost of the island state's four main islands. With its heavenly floral and geometric motifs in cobalt blue, rust red and gold, Imari porcelain has had a significant influence on European tableware since the 17th century. Raynaud reinterprets the historical style from the Far East and brings it back to the modern table with a contemporary lightness.

Designer Olivier Maillefer created the "Imari" decorations as watercolour paintings. Free from rigid structures and strict symmetries, he created new floral motifs of graceful elegance and cheerful spontaneity for each piece in the extensive collection. Generous fine gold applications bring the 17 different colours of the floral designs to life. Deep blue plates covered in golden patterns form a fantastic contrast to the colourful floral splendour.

The Raynaud porcelain manufactory enchants connoisseurs and professionals alike with refined Limoges porcelain full of poetic charm and elegance. The elaborate decorations are printed with the utmost precision and applied to the fine porcelain by hand. Discover the cosmopolitan poetry of porcelain by Raynaud with the "Imari" dinner service.

Cleaning:
Clean your porcelain by hand using a soft sponge and mild dishwashing liquid. However, be careful not to use the abrasive side, as it may damage the surface of the decorations, especially gold or platinum.

Your porcelain is also perfectly safe for the dishwasher. Choose a low-temperature cycle and do not exceed the recommended amount of detergent. If you do not wash the porcelain immediately (by hand or in the dishwasher), we recommend rinsing it with warm water. Make sure that the pieces do not touch each other in the dishwasher and allow the steam to escape after the program has finished.

Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).

Microwave:
Pieces without gold or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
