Enjoy every kind of tea to the highest standards. The "Apollo" tea collection by Saint-Louis combines delicate Limoges bisque porcelain and brilliant crystal glass to create the ultimate tea set for all ways of enjoying tea together. Whether British black tea, Chinese oolong tea or Japanese green tea, the "Apollo" tea collection adapts and spoils you and your guests with its unique design and inimitable craftsmanship.
The "Apollo" tea collection has been developed together with tea sommelier Lydia Gautier to meet the requirements of professional tasting glasses. Each glass is designed to perfectly showcase the different types of tea. The elegant cut pattern of the "Apollo" collection enhances the colours of the tea, while its bulbous silhouette rests securely and warmly on the flat of the hand.
The tall, narrow No. 1 glass concentrates the scents of light teas such as green tea, mild oolong and herbal tea preparations.
The wide-open No. 2 glass develops the flavour of full-bodied teas such as heavily oxidised oolong and black tea.
Glass no. 3 expands the collection especially for espresso.
Glass no. 4 is a small Chinese-style tea bowl for strongly brewed tea.
The tea service is completed by a large and a small pot for brewing tea, a pourer for serving, a hand-blown plate for serving tea biscuits and sweets and a sugar pot. To prevent damage to the crystal glassware, it should be preheated before each use and cleaned quickly afterwards.

It is recommended to clean by hand with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. Place glasses on a paper towel, allow to drip dry, and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Do not put products with gold or platinum decorations in the dishwasher, do not use white vinegar and dry thoroughly; do not use abrasive materials, bleach, or rubber.
Clean carafes and pitchers with lukewarm water; do not allow wine to stand. To remove tannin or limescale deposits, use equal parts white vinegar and lukewarm water. Place a paper towel in the neck to dry.
Pre-warm tea glasses and pre-chill ice buckets to avoid temperature shock.
Important note for candle holders: To avoid thermal shock, change the candle when the flame is 6cm away from the crystal. It is recommended to use a candle snuffer.
