The "Les Bouquets de Fleurs" dinnerware is decorated with the wonderful illustrations of the world famous artist Marc Chagall. Flowers and colours play a special role on the Limoges porcelain service by Bernardaud.
Bouquets of flowers made their first appearance in Chagall’s life around 1909, when he met his future wife, Bella. In his work, the painter represented flowers as he found them, often already grouped and arranged in a vase. They are not flowers as seen in their natural environment; they have been gathered and brought to his home and studio. He admired them, absorbed them, and then painted them, as though incarnating his imagination and inner world.
Like the angel, the acrobat, or the self-portrait, the bouquet of flowers became, in Chagall’s paintings, the expression of an iconographic element also elevating us to a spiritual realm, symbolizing, among other things, the sacred offering. The presence of flowers evokes the eternal search for the ideal, leading us towards a world colored by excellence and beauty, the sight of which continues to awaken our wonder. As a result, "Les Bouquets de Fleurs" is not only a dinner service but an inspiring work of art, full of poetry and fantasy.

Cleaning:
You can clean your porcelain by hand using a soft sponge and mild dishwashing liquid. However, be careful not to use the abrasive side of the sponge, as it may scratch or damage the surface of the decorations, especially gold or platinum.
Your porcelain is also perfectly safe for the dishwasher. Choose a low-temperature cycle and do not exceed the recommended amount of detergent. If you do not wash the porcelain immediately (by hand or in the dishwasher), we recommend rinsing it with warm water. Make sure that the pieces do not touch each other in the dishwasher.
Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver, or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver, or platinum decoration: not suitable for the microwave, as Bernardaud uses a high percentage of precious metals in these designs.
