With "Versailles Enchanté", Bernardaud has designed an opulent and festive dinner service in homage to the magnificent palace of Versailles.
While King Louis XIV had the gardens of Versailles landscaped with fountains and groves, he decided to throw a party for queen and her mother called the "Fêtes de l'Ile Enchantée" which lasted six days. 600 "only" people were selectively invited to the party: the castle, still in its original size, could not accommodate all the guests, who would then live in their carriages!
The "Versailles Enchanté" dinnerware represents the gardens, seen from the castle, and the shows of these festivities. Each plate is decorated with a different motif. This makes it especially exciting to combine the different plate sizes and designs with each other.
The "Versailles Enchanté" dinnerware is made of the finest Limoges porcelain and is produced in the traditional Bernardaud porcelain factory. Bernardaud is a leading manufacturer of Limoges porcelain. Since 1863, this French family business has been demonstrating its passion for fine craftsmanship.

Cleaning:
You can clean your porcelain by hand using a soft sponge and mild dishwashing liquid. However, be careful not to use the abrasive side of the sponge, as it may scratch or damage the surface of the decorations, especially gold or platinum.
Your porcelain is also perfectly safe for the dishwasher. Choose a low-temperature cycle and do not exceed the recommended amount of detergent. If you do not wash the porcelain immediately (by hand or in the dishwasher), we recommend rinsing it with warm water. Make sure that the pieces do not touch each other in the dishwasher.
Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver, or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver, or platinum decoration: not suitable for the microwave, as Bernardaud uses a high percentage of precious metals in these designs.
