A summer dream come true: The illustrator Fabrice Moireau designed the "De Paris à Giverny" dinner service for the Fayencerie de Gien based on the publications "Parisian Gardens" and "Claude Monet's garden in Giverny".
Each motif presents a garden rich in history and poetry. One motif shows the garden in the "Cité Fleurie", in which even today there is a calm and convivial atmosphere which makes it popular with artists. Another portrays the park around the "Musée de la Vie Romantique", where it is possible to follow the path trodden by the artists Ary Scheffer and his girlfriend George Sand.
And there are of course the enchanting gardens of Giverny, which Claude Monet immortalized in his world-famous Impressionist paintings.
The sets with dessert and bread plates each comprise four different plates, two of which portray "Parisian Gardens" and two "Gardens of Giverny".
