Gien's "Dominoté" dinnerware is the result of a collaboration between Gien and the small wallpaper manufacturer "Antoinette Poisson" to create a rich collection of shapes and patterns. "Antoinette Poisson" produces handprinted and handpainted wallpaper using the traditional "Dominoterie" printing technique dating from the eighteen century.

The enchanting "Scallop" shape of the plates made of ecru-coloured faience adorn floral and geometric motifs. The "Roses", "Louis XIII" and "Artifices" patterns were drawn exclusively for Gien by artists from the wallpaper manufacturer "Antoinette Poisson", while "Indienne" and "Medecis" are inspired by archive documents from the 18th century. The fine lines in the colour peacock on the edges are hand-painted.

The "Dominoté" dinnerware can be perfectly combined with the Gien service "Filets Acapulco". The plain-coloured service also has a hand-painted rim in the colour peacock.

Faience is a fine glazed earthenware, which dates back to Egyptian times. Gien France started to use this technique in 1821 and has since perfected its own unique style. Gien faience tableware is characterised by its intense colours and variety of shapes and decorations.
