The "Oiseaux de Paradis" dinner service by Gien immortalizes motifs of traditional Chinese porcelain on finest French faience. Designed by Jacques Olerys for Gien in the eighteenth century, the main theme of this dinnerware is a colourful bird set against a backdrop of fanciful flora.
The wave-shaped rim on the "Oiseaux de Paradis" plates and bowls provides this exotic garden with an elegant frame. In order to underline the graceful geometry, the Gien an der Loire craftsmen adorn this range with a narrow blue border - classic country house style with an exotic flair.
