Emerald by Hering Berlin

The innovative, unique and modern "Emerald" collection by Stefanie Hering from Hering Berlin sets new standards in manufacturing of porcelain.

The rims of the "Emerald" plates are made of smoothed silky matt, unglazed bisque porcelain and form a pleasant contrast to the iridescent green colour glaze inside the plates. The lively high-fire glaze alternates from juicy leaf green to an intense emerald color.

The colored glazes that cover the surfaces of the plates are a special development by Hering Berlin, for which Stefanie Hering spent months experimenting with specialized craftsmen. They are poured out by hand, run a little differently on each object and also deposit in always slightly different opaque and transparent layers on the porcelain surface.

Each piece is unique and is produced by hand in the Hering Berlin manufacture in Germany. At the same time, they are easy to clean and can be combined in many ways.
