The innovative, unique and modern "Silent Brass Platinum" collection by Stefanie Hering from Hering Berlin sets new standards in manufacturing of porcelain.
The rims of the "Silent Brass" plates are made of smoothed silky matt, unglazed bisque porcelain and form a pleasant contrast to the iridescent brass colour glaze inside the plate. The innovative glaze made with ground basalt gives the impression as if liquid metal has been poured over plates and bowls.
A platinum line accentuates the difference between the silky matt biscuit porcelain and the glossy glaze in the centre.
Each piece is unique and is produced by hand in the Hering Berlin manufacture in Germany. The "Silent Brass Platinum" by Hering Berlin complements perfectly pieces from the other collections like "Piqueur" and "Velvet". All plates are also available with a gilded line "Silent Brass Gold" as well as "Silent Brass" without line.

Cleaning:
Bisque porcelain is dishwasher safe. Remove stubborn residue by soaking in soapy water and cleaning with the scouring pad of a sponge. Use abrasive cleaners only on unglazed surfaces.
For bisque porcelain with precious metal decoration hand washing is recommended, but some decorations are suitable for the dishwasher. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent, not the abrasive side. When using a dishwasher, select a low-temperature program and the recommended amount of detergent. Ensure that the pieces do not touch each other and that steam can escape after the program has finished.
Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).
Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
