"Zen" dinner plate by L'Objet

The "Zen" collection by L'Objet is an ode to contemplation as practised in the ceremonies and rituals in eastern traditions. Loose brush calligraphic motifs take inspiration from the eternity circle, hand-painted in 24k gold around the edge of the plate range. The "Zen" collection also presents a golden bonsai motif on a midnight blue background as well as a white-golden teapot and teacup.

The beautiful design for the "Zen" dinnerware was created by the founder Elad Yifrach, who founded the brand L'Objet in 2004. With "Zen", the designer wanted to combine tradition and modernity. Each piece is made of porcelain and is finished with 24-carat gold.

• L'Objet dinnerware with gold or platinum accents are dishwasher safe, using a gentle energy efficient air-dry cycle or may be hand washed and dried with a soft cloth. Hand wash oversize pieces. Do not overload dishwasher. Avoid abrasive soaps and detergents containing citrus scents or additives.
• After use, rinse in hot water to avoid prolonged contact with acidic substances which can stain metal finish.
• When storing, stack carefully to avoid scratches in the gold or platinum finish.
• Pieces with gold or platinum accents are not suitable for the microwave.
