Argentine-born Ruth Garvich started off by making models for the vases, bowls and plates from handmade paper. These filigree creations provided the basis for the handcrafted porcelain objects. The natural characteristics of the paper, in other words the folds, crinkles and tautness, are what form and structure the individual pieces of the porcelain dinner service. "Landscapes of light transformed into porcelain" is the result promised by the respected Nymphenburg manufacturer when the numerous elements come together.
