"Lotos Aqua" plates by Nymphenburg

The white bisque porcelain and glazed rims of the "Lotos Aqua" plates by Nymphenburg produce a summery and fresh effect. The centre of the "Lotos Aqua" plate is in a delicate aqua shade. Its name was inspired by the lotus flower. The lotus leaf’s ability to repel water and dirt has earned it a reputation for purity in the East Asian area. This is mirrored in the delicate colour of the fine, almost translucent porcelain.

Wolfgang von Wersin conceived the design for the elegant dinner service. The artist has produced three spectacular designs for the Nymphenburg Porcelain manufacturer. For the "Lotos" plates, Wersin chose a simple basic shape. "Lotos" by Nymphenburg is available in other colours. We are happy to assist you in your choice.
