"Orient" teapot with Chinese by Augarten Wien

The "Orient" dinner service is based on a design conceived by Ena Rottenburg in 1930. Of particular interest are the knobs of the tea and coffee pots as well as the sugar bowls, which are in the shape of so-called "exotic heads". This Augarten crockery reflects the high quality of this Viennese company; the very fine porcelain has an almost transparent white glaze.
