"Kurland Blanc Nouveau" presents an adapted version of the relief used for the successful "Kurland" from KPM. In this new design, the distinct antique border of matt bisque porcelain looks particularly effective. The interplay of glazed shiny surfaces with matt bisque porcelain is not only an optical but also a haptic experience.
Refined bisque porcelain was already popular more than 200 years ago, During the Classicist period, KPM focused mainly on figurative porcelain because of its velvety surface structure. The "Kurland" porcelain service from KPM also dates from this style epoch.
