Checks by Raynaud

The "Checks" dinnerware is the result of the second collaboration between star chef Thomas Keller and Raynaud. "Checks" is a variation of the successful "Hommage" service by Raynaud. It was developed especially for Thomas Keller's second starred restaurant "The French Laundry" in California. This restaurant has been awarded with three Michelin stars.

A discreet hound’s tooth pattern decorates the rims of the plates. The slightly raised effect coupled with the very pale grey of the pattern gives subtle sophistication with an almost tone-on tone design. The special thing about the "Checks" dinner service is its variety of shapes and sizes, for example in terms of plate centres - everything is represented, from square to oval to concentric. The broad edge on the plates and bowls is just the perfect frame for exquisite dishes. The cloche, sugar bowl and teapot/coffee pot each have a stainless steel (pendulum-shaped) knob.

The "Checks" dinner service is made of the finest Limoges porcelain at the Raynaud manufactory in France. Traditional production processes are strictly observed here, thus ensuring the unique quality of the Raynaud products.

Cleaning:
Clean your porcelain by hand using a soft sponge and mild dishwashing liquid. However, be careful not to use the abrasive side, as it may damage the surface of the decorations, especially gold or platinum.

Your porcelain is also perfectly safe for the dishwasher. Choose a low-temperature cycle and do not exceed the recommended amount of detergent. If you do not wash the porcelain immediately (by hand or in the dishwasher), we recommend rinsing it with warm water. Make sure that the pieces do not touch each other in the dishwasher and allow the steam to escape after the program has finished.

Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).

Microwave:
Pieces without gold or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
