The "Apollo" glasses tend to surprise people at first with their slightly superior appearance, but it is not totally unjustified. The "Apollo" glasses, carafes and jugs from the French luxury manufacturer Saint-Louis have a particularly striking vertical cut, which is what gives them their dashing appearance.
We offer here the "Apollo" glasses by Saint-Louis in clear crystal glass. They are also available with a fine gold rim. Please contact us for further information.
High-quality crystal glass from Saint-Louis has been famous for its elegance and craftsmanship for centuries. "Apollo" was not designed until 1979. Yet even this relatively young series of glasses lives up to the reputation of Saint-Louis as a manufactory of glass masterpieces.

It is recommended to clean by hand with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. Place glasses on a paper towel, allow to drip dry, and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Do not put products with gold or platinum decorations in the dishwasher, do not use white vinegar and dry thoroughly; do not use abrasive materials, bleach, or rubber.
Clean carafes and pitchers with lukewarm water; do not allow wine to stand. To remove tannin or limescale deposits, use equal parts white vinegar and lukewarm water. Place a paper towel in the neck to dry.
Pre-warm tea glasses and pre-chill ice buckets to avoid temperature shock.
Important note for candle holders: To avoid thermal shock, change the candle when the flame is 6cm away from the crystal. It is recommended to use a candle snuffer.
