With "Camélia" Daum presents a new collection inspired by camellia flowers. The Cristallerie Daum wanted to highlight the 1970s and pay homage to the empowerment and audacity of women. Camellia is a flower full of character, as visually powerful as it is elegant and harmonious. The "Camélia" large bowls are available in two colours: a subtle powdered pink, a fresh and romantic colour that contrasts with the intense violet, a mysterious and noble tone.
Behind Daum's brilliant works of glass art is a long history of passion, innovation and love for the craft. It was a long way to the perfect "Pâte de Cristal" (crystal glass paste): For more than 140 years Daum discovered and perfected its techniques. The result of the long work are unique pieces of richly colored glass.
The velvety surface is a special hallmark of the art objects by Daum. Small air bubbles enclosed in the glass are possible and a sign of this special manufacturing process.
