"Cadence" bowl, l 28 cm by Saint-Louis

The designer Pierre Charpin and Saint-Louis have created together the modern glassware collection "Cadence". "Cadence" is a tribute to the virtuosity of glassmakers and to the emblematic craftsmanship of the crystal glass manufactory. The geometry of the lines is at the heart of this collection, suggesting an "encounter" or a "meeting".

The "Cadence" lines, which meet and repeat, are a tribute to the virtuosity of the crystal cutting by Saint-Louis. Saint-Louis' glassblowers and glass cutters have to pay attention to very precise craftsmanship, so that in the end each bowl meets the highest standards.

The enormously complex handwork makes every object from the French crystal manufactory unique. Only after a strict quality control each piece gets its own signature. Each "Cadence" bowl is delivered safely packed in a high-quality Saint-Louis gift box.

It is recommended to clean by hand with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. Place glasses on a paper towel, allow to drip dry, and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Do not put products with gold or platinum decorations in the dishwasher, do not use white vinegar and dry thoroughly; do not use abrasive materials, bleach, or rubber.

Clean carafes and pitchers with lukewarm water; do not allow wine to stand. To remove tannin or limescale deposits, use equal parts white vinegar and lukewarm water. Place a paper towel in the neck to dry.

Pre-warm tea glasses and pre-chill ice buckets to avoid temperature shock.

Important note for candle holders: To avoid thermal shock, change the candle when the flame is 6cm away from the crystal. It is recommended to use a candle snuffer.
