Daum is the glassmaker master from Nancy since 1878. The French Maison is the only manufacturer in the world that is specialised in creating decorative objects made of "Pâte de Cristal" (= crystal glass paste). Glass works of art from the house of Daum captivate with perfect contours and unique colors. Light falls softly through the crystal glass and thus brings the rich color gradients gently to glow.
The velvety surface is a special hallmark of the art objects by Daum. Small air bubbles enclosed in the glass are possible and a sign of this special manufacturing process.
