The design idea for the "Scales" picture frames from L’Objet was inspired by the fascinating shape of palm trees and their trunks along the Italian coast: metal scales delicately shaped and plated in gold or platinum are lined up overlapping each other to form this ornate picture frame. Even on the back of the "Scales" picture frames from L’Objet you will find little blossoms which help to secure the Italian leather panel.
The incoming sunlight or the light cast by a table lamp reflects softly in the metallic frame but without detracting from your view of the picture in the frame because the glass is faceted.
