"Tulipe" vases, h 17 cm by Daum

The "Tulipe" vases by Daum stretch up towards the sunlight like their freshly flowering counterparts in nature. Reminiscent of the so-called "parrot tulips" with their deeply cut, slightly curled blooms, they have a fascinating appeal. The individual petals of the "Tulipe" vase from Daum fan out to form a flared, jagged rim.
At a height of 17cm, the vase is ideal for bouquets of cut flowers, which then drape over the edges creating a vibrant appearance. Yet with their soft amber and ultraviolet colours, the "Tulipe" vases by Daum almost compete with the flowers that they hold since they seem to radiate from the inside out. They are actually real eye-catchers even without a bouquet and can be used as an ornament for side boards and windowsills.

Each "Tulipe" is manufactured by hand from a single crystal glass paste and is thus totally unique.
