Bernardaud worked together with the leather specialist J.M. Weston to create this "Cabas" teapot. This brand, well-known for its high-quality leather shoes, manufactures the detachable handle entirely by hand. The tanned leather is treated to enable it to resist moisture. When the "Cabas" handle is used a lot, it develops a certain shine which is typical for this kind of leather. The base of the handle bears the J.M.Weston logo.
