Each espresso cup and saucer from Hering Berling is an individual work of art and is a perfect example of the craftsmanship of the Berlin porcelain manufacturer. The set of 4 espresso cups plays with the dry porous appearance of unglazed bisque porcelain and the brilliant shimmer of glazed porcelain. This results in a refined appearance and haptic feel.

The cups all have the same surface structure. The upper section and interior surface are of glazed porcelain. The bottom half is of unglazed, bisque porcelain.
Each espresso cup and saucer from Hering Berlin is a unique piece that is shaped and painted entirely by hand.

Cleaning:
Bisque porcelain is dishwasher safe. Remove stubborn residue by soaking in soapy water and cleaning with the scouring pad of a sponge. Use abrasive cleaners only on unglazed surfaces.
For bisque porcelain with precious metal decoration hand washing is recommended, but some decorations are suitable for the dishwasher. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent, not the abrasive side. When using a dishwasher, select a low-temperature program and the recommended amount of detergent. Ensure that the pieces do not touch each other and that steam can escape after the program has finished.
Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).
Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
