"Phi" coffee and tea service by Puiforcat

"Phi" by Puiforcat is a collaborative project between the Frensh design studio "Normal Studio" and the luxury silversmith Puiforcat. Both companies share similar values and design ideas. Purity of line, sculpted shapes, and sleek elegance are the signatures of Puiforcat, due in part to Jean Puiforcat himself, a fourth-generation silversmith and artistic director of the studio starting in the 1920s.

"Phi" by Puiforcat enriches our daily tea and coffee enjoyment in a particularly elegant way. The everyday becomes special and a moment of luxury. Cylindrical shapes, gentle curves and smooth surfaces as well as an attractive interplay of silverplated metal with warm walnut wood and glass - the "Phi" collection is inspired by the Art Déco era. The coffee and tea collection by Puiforcat offers an exceptional synthesis of form and function paired with design and luxury.

The title "Phi" was inspired by the quest for the absolute harmony of shapes and the flawless calculation of proportions so dear to Jean Puiforcat. The symbol for the golden ratio, "Phi" is a beautiful metaphor for - and fitting image of - mathematical perfection.
