"Musu" is the name of the elegant 20 cm large, double sided vase. "Musu" by Nymphenburg is suitable for medium-sized bouquets, but also small arrangements, because the really interesting thing about the "Musu" vase is that it can be used either from above or below, depending on whether you feel like a colorful bouquet of flowers or a few fancy solitaires. One side offers a larger opening than the other.
The fine grooves on the perfectly modelled vase body create a delicate play of light and shadow on the matte bisque porcelain. Inside, the "Musu" vase is covered with a protective glaze. Its name, as designer Felix Pöttinger himself explains, is derived from the form function: "M" stands for "MANY", "S" for "SINGLE" and the "U" reflects the shape of the vase.
The 250-year-old Nymphenburg porcelain factory continues to conceive new works of art that will be appreciated for generations. Again and again, the Munich porcelain manufactory works with contemporary artists to create true design objects made from the finest porcelain.
